Character Theme Pack for "Theme Design."

I left school early to do my animation. Instead my sister made me go take photos with her. We're nerds. I'm the one with the yellow, she's the one in blue. I think I better go animate now.

My first Maya experience. (Well, third...) I spent about 2 hours pulling out my hair with this thing. It's not very impressive, but it was a learning experience.

Today...

So about 5 minutes ago I ate two spoonfuls of Nutella.
About halfway through the second spoonful I decided something.
I decided that I love my art, and I love what I do.
Sure it can be a million times better, but so can anything.
That doesn't mean it's not fun.

Beaked character. My scanner is too slow and crapping out at the moment, so we'll have to wait on the muzzle character.

You can't tell from here, but I draw with a pen. I don't leave any room for erasing. Should change that.

Some cafe sketches from my sketchbook. Some of them are from my TV. Like Paris Hilton, if you can tell.

Consecutive scenes for the Layout Workbook (rough layouts.) These are the scenes without the characters. Busted these out in an hour, so they're nothing special. I like the one with the lookout-towers, though :)

So today I finished my first sketchbook ever. This is big news. I've never done one cover to cover. The zebras are something I drew a million years ago, and the girl is a wonky-looking Debbie from class today.

I started animating. 15 minutes later, I started speed-painting. Ofcourse, a speed-painting. Imagine the day I actually do a FINISHED painting! I need to focus better.

Characters for the walk-run assignment. Concept and finished. Is it just me, or did they get worse after the concept? I find the longer I spend on something, the worse it gets. Need to work on that...
